Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRB (Regional Ruler Bank banks)

The online examination for the next Common RecruitmentProcess for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-V) for Recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in November and December 2016. Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Regional Rural Banks listed at (A) as Group “A”-Officers (ScaleI, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose), is required to register for the Common RecruitmentProcess (CWE for RRBs-V). For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistants (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistants (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.

For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARDand IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. Candidates who apply for Scale II (Generalist and Specialists) and Scale III will appear for a single online examination and shortlisted candidates in the single examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the specified eligibility criteria before applying for the CWE: Candidates may please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Regional Rural Banks. However merely applying for, qualifying in CWE and getting provisionally allotted in one of the RRBs does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in any of the Regional Rural Banks. It is expressly clarified that the ultimate authority for Recruitment is the Regional Rural Bank itself. The RRB concerned may, in its sole discretion, reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CWE.

Nationality / Citizenship IBPS RRB – V Notification:

A candidate must be either – (i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.


Age Limit IBPS RRB – V 2016  Notification

Age (As on 01.09.2016) For Officer Scale- III- Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1976 and later than 31.08.1995 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II- Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1984 and later than 31.08.1995 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I- Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.09.1986 and later than 31.08.1998 (both dates inclusive) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.09.1988 and later than 01.09.1998 (both dates inclusive)

Application Fee IBPS RRB – V 2016  Notification

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges (Online payment from 14.09.2016 to 30.09.2016 both dates inclusive)
Officer (Scale I, II & III) – Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. – Rs. 600/- for all others Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates. – Rs. 600/- for all others.


Cut Of Score OF RRB (Regional Rural Banks) -V

CWE score the corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method. Scores upto two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculation. For the post of office assistants (multipurpose) – marks obtained only in the main examination will be considered for final merit listing. For the post of officers scale i – marks obtained only in the main examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing. For the post of officers scale ii (generalist and specialist) and scale iii – marks obtained only in the single level examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit listing.
