The first batch of the light combat aircraft Tejas will be commissioned today in Bengaluru on Friday. It is a fighter jet made in India. It will join the likes of Sukhoi and jaguars in the sky after being commissioned. It took 15 years to build Tejas fit enough to be inducted into the IAF fleet. The IAF plans to induct 120 Tejas aircraft of different configurations.
