Jr. NTR Programs On Japan National TV

South India Super Star And India Best Dancer Jr.NTR

Sources to the Japanese-Tollywood deal claim that after Kollywood’s super star Rajinikanth, Jr NTR’s work is the most sought after.
The Japanese apparently, even love dancing to songs from the actor’s movies and even remix his songs for dance shows on TV.

In fact, Fuji TV, a Japanese national channel, regularly airs programmes on Jr NTR. The channel had also made a documentary on the actor a few years ago.

But the interest in NTR. has also opened up a new market for Telugu cinema. Although not financially viable, yet, this tiny expansion into a very tiny market seems to be a good sign.
And the first to make use of that “sign” is Movie ‘Baadshah’, which has now been dubbed in Japanese and is set to release in the country soon.
“A film production company recently signed the agreement and brought the rights of the film. This is just the beginning and they want to buy the rights of more Telugu films,” says a source, who represents the Japanese production house in India.
Not only ‘Baadshah’, the production house is also planning to buy Jr NTR’s previous films like ‘Student No.1’, ‘Simhadri’ and ‘Yamadonga’. The production company is also releasing ‘Baadshah’ in Korean.
Not just this, an Indian film festival is now being scheduled to be held in Japan in the coming couple of months, and the organisers are planning to screen Jr NTR’s films during the festival. They are also planning to invite the star himself for the event.

But why? According to the Japanese source, if Rajini’s “mannerisms” were what gave him the fame in Japan, for Jr NTR, it’s his dancing.
