MUMBAI:The health condition of Indrani Mukherjea, the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, remained critical on Saturday.Speaking to Dr. T.P. Lahane, dean of Sir JJ Hospital said, “Indrani is in a semi conscious state. Sometimes she is responding, sometimes she isn’t. Her respiratory depression continues and till it’s normal, we cannot say she is out of danger. She is critical but stable”.Dr. Lahane said her blood samples have been sent to the forensic team to ascertain the toxins in her body.The CBI team probing the murder case is likely to arrive at the hospital to check on her condition and meet the team of doctors treating her.Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who also handles the Home portfolio, has ordered an inquiry into the incident late last night. The inquiry will be conducted by Inspector General, Prisons, and will look into lapses, if any, by the Byculla prison authorities in monitoring the medicines given to her.
